Reverse Logic Limited offers three jack pad tool models and a jack stand adapter for BMW chassis which have jack points with an integrated vehicle jack pocket. The R50JPT model fits all BMW chassis except for the 1-Series E88 Convertible, the 3-Series E93 Convertible, and the Z3 Roadster. The E88JPT and E36JPT have slightly shorter blocks to accommodate the smaller pockets in the E88, E93, and Z3 jack points. The JSA-B Jack Stand Adapters fit all BMW chassis except for the Z3 Roadster.

Most Mercedes-Benz vehicles introduced after the 2000 model year incorporate a combination jack point which can be used with either the vehicle jack or the dealer service department lift. The Reverse Logic jack pad tool leverages the small notch in either end of the jack point pocket for the vehicle jack. The spring loaded bullet latches in the ends of the jack pad tool block are positioned to snap into these notches and temporarily suspend the tool while a floor jack can be positioned below the jack point. The GLK chassis does not have notches in the vehicle jack pocket so the jack pad tool for the GLK is similar in design to the tools offered for BMW chassis. Several MB models share the same plastic jack points. Reverse Logic jack pad tool model numbers match the first chassis number which uses a particular jack point.
On MB cars with the standard body side skirts, the jack points typically extend slightly below the side skirts. The side skirts on cars with AMG body kits frequently hang below the jack points making these cars even more of a challenge to lift with a floor jack from the side jack points. Reverse Logic offers an optional spacer to increase the height of the block on the jack pad tool for MB models with AMG side skirts. The spacer is included with the W203plus, W221plus, W204plus, and R171plus jack pad tools.
Note: Order the optional jack pad tool spacer or one of the “plus” models if your car has AMG side skirts that hang below the jack points. The spacer is included with the W203plus, W221plus, W204plus, and R171plus jack pad tools.
The jack points on a Nissan GT-R are much larger than those used on BMWs. However, the pocket in the jack point of the GT-R is very similar in size to the pockets in a typical BMW jack point. This tool shares the base with our tools for BMW and MB. Like our BMW jack pad tools, the GT-R tool uses silicone plugs to hold the jack pad tool in place while a floor jack or four-arm lift is maneuvered into place.

The aluminum block on the MV52-30-28 jack pad tool measures 52mm long by 30mm wide by 28mm high. These dimensions allow this tool to be used with cars that have an integrated vehicle jack pocket in the factory jack points. This includes most modern BMWs, MINIs, non-AMG Mercedes, and the Nissan GT-R. For floor jacks with removable saddles, the optional 30mm pin allows use of the tool without a floor jack saddle. A low profile floor jack is normally required to use this tool. Unlike our other chassis specific jack pad tools below, this mutli-vehicle tool does not hang from the factory jack points. The “universal” dimensions of the block preclude this feature from being incorporated into the MV52-30-28 jack pad tool model. The 52mm long blocks are available separately for use with aluminum jack stands with flat topped saddles. A 10mm hole must be drilled through the saddle of the jack stand in order to install the block with the supplied bolts. The Multi-Vehicle tools have a silver powder coated finish.

The C5/C6 Jack Pad Tool consists of five components: a 2 1/2" diameter Delrin puck, a threaded T-nut, an M8x1.25 bolt, a Neoprene washer, and a Nylon spacer. The hole in the center of the puck is threaded so that the bolt does not spin after being installed. The “diamond” shaped shaft on the T-nut distinguishes this tool from competing products. The built-in stops on the shaft of the T-nut restrict the tool from being turned more than 90 degrees once the tool is inserted into the oval-shaped hole in the chassis.
The tool can be used in two modes. When the Nylon spacer is installed between the puck and the T-nut, the jack pad can be used in the conventional manner where it simply hangs from the chassis. In this mode all five of the tool components are used. Although this tool is not intended to be permanently installed, it can be temporarily secured in place when performing maintenance for an extended period or taking a quick trip to a service garage. In this mode, the spacer is removed and the T-nut is re-installed until there is about 1/8" to 3/16" space between the T-nut and the washer. The tool is then inserted into the chassis jack point and the puck is turned clockwise a couple of turns until the tool is snugged up against the chassis. The washer prevents the tool from scraping against the chassis while turning the puck to secure it in place.
